Welcome to Parent's Week! I thought I'd use this space to share some thoughts, wisdom, and advice based on 16 years as a Licensed Professional Counselor working with children, adolescents, and families.
Please keep in mind...these are very short videos and I could spend a LOT more time going MUCH deeper into each topic I am sharing. That being said, my hope is that you walk away with one or two things to help deepen your understanding of, improve communication with, and/or strengthen the relationship you have with your child.
Today's episode is about consequences. In this one I hope to help you with how to determine when a consequence is necessary, what an appropriate consequence would be, and how to include your child in the process.
